Programmer, website developer etc. retired.
For several years I would have taken temporary web-site, probably spredsheet, updating work from home.
For 40 years I was registered with numerous agencies and despite numerous contacts with them there were only ever two occasions when the contact was about jobs that were relevant to me. I would be phoned at all hours and weekends and asked if I had experience in things which it could be seen from my on-line CV I did not. I was regularly not contacted about jobs I saw advertised by those agencies that were relevant to me. Hardly any of the time I spent dealing with them for over 40 years was not and apparently could not have been of any value. Jobs I got were almost entirely through my own efforts.
There is a great deal of ageism in IT. You are likely to be considered too old and incapable of learning new skills even if they're hardly any different to things you've been doing for several years, at 30.
